Our History

ATEL, Made In France

ATEL is first and foremost a team of passionate horse dedicated and carriage driving specialists, enthusiasts building for enthusiasts.

Founded in 1987, Maison ATEL was born alongside the horses, in the heart of daily driving life : lines in hand, horses at work, with sharp minds constantly attuned to every detail. This daily immersion allows us to listen closely to users and deliver carriages renowned for their geometry and fluid trajectories, exceptional road holding, reliability and safety.

By evolving alongside our clienst as true on-the-ground partners, we remain at the forefront of performance and service. We value direct dialogue and access to truly custom-made solutions.

In parallel, the ATEL Competition Stable (a 1901 law association) competes at the highest national and international levels.

Our drivers, grooms, and coaches rigorously test, validate, and push the limits of our equipment... for them as for you. This sporting showcase demonstrates both the performance of our carriages and the expertise, know-ho, and responsiveness of our entire team
